2 Versions of Fudgy Brownies
Last Saturday it was my hubby's birthday and I baked Fudgy Brownies for him :) I started by toasting almonds in the oven, suprisingly he could smell the fragrance of almonds and asked me "are you making brownie?" I was shocked how come he know what I gonna surprise him by just smelling the roasted almonds!
The best brownies in my idea must be fudgy texture inside and crispy on top. If you look at the above photo on your right side, it was over baked so it turned to be more crispy than fudgy which I prefered...that was my first attempt baking brownies. These time I tried to keep my eyes on the temperature and timing when I baked my brownies and I found out that 18-20 mins of baking brownie in 8" x 8" square tin it worked well to give me such a fudgy brownie as in the above photo on your left side.
We celebrated his birthday by eating this brownie at 00.00+ Saturday morning, can you believe that we finished half of the whole brownies! It's super rich of chocolate flavour and chopped roasted almonds made this brownies more interesting in texture when we were biting :)
