Made these cookies for few times and the feedback is great! The important thing is to choose a good quality butter to create more flavor in every bite.
Buttery Chocolate Chip Cookies
Butter (Golden Churn Brand) 180 g.
Shortening 20 g.
All purpose flour 240 g.
Baking powder 1 tsp.
Salt 1/2 tsp.
Sugar 1/2 cup
Caster sugar 1/4 cup
Vanilla 1 tsp.
Chocolate chip 1 cup
1. Sift flour, baking powder, salt and set aside
2. Beat butter and shortening by using mixer with medium speed till creamy gradually add sugar and beat till light and fluffy then add in vanilla.
3. Divide flour to 3 portions and add in each portion at time to the butter. Using spatula to mix the cookie dough. Last flour portion add in chocolate chips before last mix.
4. Use ice cream scoop to make a cookie on the baking tray lined with parchment paper. Bake in preheat oven 175C for 20 mins.
